đ Craftsmanship Origin: Tang Dynasty Brocade, Every Stitch with Soul
This tea mat inherits the millennia-old craftsmanship of Tang Dynasty brocade and Suzhou embroidery.
During the flourishing Tang Dynasty, Bao Xiang Hua Wen Jin (auspicious floral patterned brocade) was a brilliant emblem of the Silk Road. Its "warp-raised floral" weaving technique fused Western patterns with Central Plains aesthetics, making it a textile totem of the Great Tang era. Suzhou embroidery's "flat and fine stitch," on the other hand, reached its pinnacle during the Ming and Qing dynasties, with stitches as fine as hair and colors as soft as moonlight. We have combined these two intangible cultural heritage techniques into one tea mat, allowing the grandeur of the Tang Dynasty and the gentle grace of Jiangnan to re-emerish on contemporary tea settings.
đ¸ Pattern Symbolism: Auspicious Flowers Blooming, Phoenixes Dancing for Good Fortune
The patterns, centered around Bao Xiang Hua (auspicious flowers) and confronting phoenixes, hide the most romantic blessings of the East:
âĸ Bao Xiang Hua: Originating from Buddhist art, its petals layer like lotuses, symbolizing "sacred perfection," and conveying purity and abundance in tea ceremonies;
âĸ Confronting Phoenixes: Facing each other, poised to fly, they are an auspicious symbol of "harmonious phoenixes" from the flourishing Tang Dynasty, conveying wishes for harmony, prosperity, and an elegant life.
On a warm gold base, red and green shaded flowers and leaves intertwine with pure white phoenix feathers, as if the sunlight and moonlight of the Tang Dynasty are woven into this tea mat.
đ Dimensions
32cm à 200cm
The perfect length, when draped from a tea table, it unfurls like a Tang Dynasty brocade. It neither obstructs the texture of the utensils nor does it overshadow the tea ware, gently encompassing them in a luxurious setting. It is suitable for various Chinese tea spaces such as long tables and tea couches.
đ§ĩ Craft Material: Brocade as Base, Embroidery as Highlight
âĸ Fabric: High-density Song brocade as the base, woven with the traditional "fine warp, coarse weft" technique, resulting in a thick texture and a warm golden luster like gilded metal;
âĸ Craftsmanship: The base pattern is Song brocade jacquard, with core patterns enhanced by Suzhou hand embroidery. The stitches are fine, and the patterns areįĢäŊ and full, with every petal carrying the warmth of fingertips;
âĸ Innovation: Quick-drying technology is incorporated into traditional brocade, allowing spilled tea to be quickly absorbed and dried, preserving the precious texture of brocade embroidery while breaking free from the constraints of being "delicate and difficult to use."
⨠Practical Performance: Tang Dynasty Luxury, Tangible in Daily Life
âĸ Quick-drying and easy to care for: No need to panic when tea spills; simply wipe clean, and it dries instantly, preventing dampness and odors. Say goodbye to mold and water stains, keeping the tea mat fresh and clean;
âĸ Wear-resistant and wrinkle-resistant: High-density brocade base with overlocked edges ensures that daily folding and washing do not easily cause deformation or fading. The grandeur of the Tang Dynasty can finally accompany you through every ordinary tea day;
âĸ Multi-scene adaptable: It's not just a tea mat, but also a table runner or a wall hanging, spreading the poetry and auspiciousness of the Tang Dynasty into every corner of your tea room, study, and living room.
"Weaving the Bao Xiang Hua and confronting phoenix patterns of the Tang Dynasty into a quick-drying tea mat, letting millennia of luxury grace your daily cups."
