The inscribed teapot in the humble room, the unforgettable fragrance of tea
It’s hot in summer, so why not sit down in a corner? What I use today is an old clay pot and a set of tea cups engraved with “Praise of the Humble Dwelling”. Before drinking the tea, the utensils speak for themselves: “A mountain is not high, but it is famous for the immortals living there. A river is not deep, but it is magical for the dragons living there.” The pot is warm, the rim of the cup is fragrant, the words of the inscription are like the wind entering the ears, and the tea is like ink, soaking the heart. There is no noise of stringed instruments, no paperwork, only a pot of clear tea and a few ancient prose to soothe the impetuous summer. With a small table, a breeze from a window, and the fragrance of tea in the room, you can sit with the ancients and talk about your thoughts slowly. What’s so humble about “ Praise of the Humble Dwelling”?
